Pulsatilla Nigricans
Pulsatilla is a Homoeopathic remedy which is prepared from vegetable Kingdom. It's common name 'Wind flower' already give a picture of this remedy. 'Wind flower' is a very light, soft, beautiful,fine flower,so as like the flower; the picture of drug & the Pulsatilla patients are very similar. 1rst of all just keep in mind the following to remember Pulsatilla:-
(B)Craves for consolation.
(C)Like April day,has changeable mood.
(D)Stomach cannot hold rich and fatty food.
(E)All complaints accompany thirstlessness with dry tongue.
(F)Thick green-yellowish discharge.
(G)Irregular and painful menses, suppressed, delayed and scanty.
(H)Leucorrhoea is also acrid, burning and creamy.
Spheres of action:-The main seats of action of pulsatilla are veins, mucous membrane of tongue, stomach; bowels, female genital organs such as ovary,uterus, vagina,eyes and ears.
Drug picture:-(1)Pulsatilla patients are normally fair and beautiful looking but inclined to be fleshy with fine hair and blue eyes,soft and lax muscles, anaemic and chlorotic with pale face, mild, gentle with weeping disposition.
(2)Changeability of symptoms, symptoms ever changing, no two chills, no two stools, no two attacks alike.
(3)Desire for open air, fatty food. Disagrees meat, bread,milk and smoking.
(4)Derangements at puberty, menses too late and scanty or suppressed particularly by getting feet wet, too late, scanty, slimy, painful, irregular, intermittent flow with intense pain & great restlessness. Delayed first menstruation.
(8)Styes :-especially on upper lid, from eating fat, greasy, rich food or pork
(9)Threatened abortion, flow ceases and then returns with increased force, pains spasmodic, excite suffocation and fainting, must have fresh air.
(10)Changeability of mental conditions.
(11)Tongue is parched dry, yet no thirst.
(12)Stomach troubles cause due to eating rich and fatty food, fruits, ice cream,tea, worms in case of children:-These factors may cause nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, abdominal colic & diarrhoea.
(13)Epigastric pain in the pit of stomach; pain comes gradually and disappears suddenly or pain appears suddenly and goes away gradually. Pain is Shifting in nature.
(14)Flatulent colic after supper or at nigh. Oppressive flatulence in upper abdomen. Colic and pain obliges the patient to bend forward.
(15)Stool watery, sometimes unconsciously evacuated. Greenish, yellow and slimy. No Two Stools are alike
